My Dedication to My Team

There are times we do not give enough credit and praise to those who have helped us become who we are.  I would like to acknowledge my Wonderful and Fantabulous Team by dedicating this page to them!  I would like to share with you my appreciation of these special ladies, who are contributing to our success, who work closely with me and who place their trust me.  They are dedicated to helping others and who truly care about our patient’s dental and total health.  

Shauna

I’ve found “My Bonnie!”

My search to replace Bonnie has ended!  Shauna is quite an accomplished individual.  She has her nursing degree, is an adept accountant, well versed with computers, holds a dental assistant degree, and is an extremely capable office manager.  In addition, Shauna is involved with church activities, keeps the books for her husband’s company, is a Brownie Scout leader and enjoys her grandchildren.  Shauna comes to our office with a tremendous amount of dedication, dental knowledge and experience.  She is extremely thorough and has more energy than 17 Energizer Rabbits.  She is very thoughtful and generous, often surprising us in the mornings with chocolate chip cookies or chocolate covered caramel pretzel sticks.  Shauna has taught me to remove the “chair” (baggage) from my back.  Thank you.


Peggy Jo

Registered Dental Hygienist.  Peggy officially inherited me in March 1988.  I am very fortunate she had faith in me to stay with the office when Dr. Don Tweedie retired.  Over the years, we have shared many experiences: my wedding, the birth of my boys, over-night continuing education courses for hygiene and practice management, a trip to Yosemite and back in 36 hours, sports with her boys and their graduations.  Peggy is extremely creative, warm hearted, enthusiastic, responsible, dependable, extremely intuitive about people and concerned for their feelings.  I look forward to the day she begins her own business that will showcase her creative talents for fund raising, event planning and centerpiece arrangements.  Of her many wonderful traits, I appreciate most her compassion for others.  Thank you.

Ingrid

Registered Dental Hygienist.  Our relationship began when I practiced in Pomona.  If memory servers me correct, she answered my call for hygiene through a dental referral service.  Besides her fine skills as a hygienist, I recall my first images of her being dropped off and picked up by her husband, and she is a quiet now as she was then.  She is an avid reader, and takes great pride in the accomplishments of her daughters.  Ingrid has tolerated my idiosyncrasies the longest of all the team.  She has experienced the worst of times and is now sharing in the best of times in our office.  One of my proudest moments with Ingrid is when we completed JP Institute Hygiene training, and she declared, “It works!”  Ingrid is loyal, faithful, dedicated, quiet, reserved and values tradition.  I appreciate her trust in me.  Thank you.


Robyn

Registered Dental Assistant.  Robyn’s relationship began as a temporary assisting position that turned into a part-time position.  Robyn’s dental career started with her uncle, Dr. Don Tweedie.  Following marriage, she retired to raise her children.  Robyn’s desire to return to dentistry coincided with my need for additional help.  Her position was to be limited in time and duration--a few hours here and there, a day here or there.  Somewhere along the line, her position transformed from “here to there” to 3 days per week.  Robyn’s tenure is third longest in line after Ingrid and Peggy.  Robyn's strengths blossomed following the retirement of Terri.  Robyn is diligent, dedicated, hard working, well organized, practical, straightforward and creative.  The next time you are in, ask her about her quilts!  Thank you for your simplicity (not complex or complicated, unpretentious.)


Genny

Registered Dental Assistant.  Genny has shown great flexibility with her dental career.  She first started assisting in orthodontics, briefly held a PR position for a periodontal office and then found me through Craig’s list.  She has more than adapted to assisting for general dentistry.  She has picked up the nuances of what creates an aesthetic smile, has learned new procedures such as implant placement to restoration and communicates well with all our patients.  Genny is friendly and people oriented, is caring and warm, creative, fun loving and enterprising.  I admire her ability to create strong bonds with our patients.  Thank you.

JayTee

Registered Dental Hygienist, (Fridays only.)  Jaytee came to our office by referral from Dr. Roy Yanase, one of my mentors.  Jaytee hard working, friendly, dependable, quiet, kind and conscientious.  She is one of our “younger” team members tolerating me for over 5 years.  I appreciate her openness in communication with me.  Thank you.
